About Angaza Center
Angaza Center is a nonprofit bridging the digital divide for students in underserved rural communities across Africa. We improve the economic and social circumstances of young girls and boys in rural African high schools through technology access and digital literacy; by donating devices, empowering teachers, and delivering Essential Digital Literacy through teacher-led and peer-to-peer training.
The Institute of Applied Digital Literacy (IADL)
The Institute of Applied Digital Literacy (IADL) is Angaza Center’s fee-for-service learning program and a core part of our sustainability model. It generates recurring revenue to support our rural African Member School program. IADL is an AI-forward, hands-on program for learners building work-ready skills in 4 or 12 weeks.
Our Learning Pathways
Through pathways in AI, Data, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Robotics/IoT, and Software Engineering, learners build portfolio projects, work in small groups, and join monthly masterclasses led by guest instructors from Kenya, across Africa, and the United States.
